The production is an ironic political compilation of songs that describe the social, political and economic realities in Palestine The lyrics are simple and express the colours, the siege, the frustration and the request for change. It tackles daily issues of a daily life... Hases Maz’ooj was recorded and produced at Sabreen studio in Jerusalem and in cooperation with Muhammad Bakry and Hind Ayyoub, two leading theater and cinema artists, Reem Talhami and Wissam Murad, two leading Palestinian singers and Charlie Saleh, a particular voice and talent. The production includes 6 musicians of different oriental and western instruments. Said Murad composed lyrics and original music... The continuous and very rapid changes that occur in this area turns what is true for today, into what is not true the day after. This production is an expression of our reaction to this situation... It is inspire by Palestinian folkloric styles of music and poetry zajal, folk music, story telling, with classical Arab singing influences and notions of rap music

Saida's creative and unique style consists of expressing her deepest thoughts through mesmerizing beats of all different kinds of music, and powerful lyrics. Her goal is to unify all cultures and beliefs through her music. She is concentrated on creating a new kind of music, one that everyone can enjoy, no matter their musical interests. Saida always finds time to dedicate to her awaiting fans around the world. Her music reaches out to people of all ages, all backgrounds, and of all colors. She has toured in Europe, North Africa, The United States, and Canada. It doesn't take an understanding of language to love her music. This very outspoken artist has done many concerts that represent her thoughts on the world. She was invited by the Belgian government as a representative of the young, modern North African women. She also did several concerts in Belgium and Holland, ending with a huge concert in Brussels during a march against racism, discrimination, and for human rights. In April of 2008, Saida went on her United States/Canada tour where she played several states including New York, Massachusetts, Washington DC, and ended the tour in Montreal, Canada. Saida just recently released her eighth album called "Essilm" which means peace. The album is filled with brand new beat flavors, dynamite lyrics, and enchanting vocals. Saida Fikri is the voice for people without a voice.

Note :

Le chant liturgique de l’église d’Ethiopie comprend un genre très particulier qui, sous le nom de ‘aqwaqwam, réunit les chants religieux, l’accompagnement des sistres et des tambours et la danse. Cette “musique et cette danse des cieux” auraient été révélées à Saint Yared (VIe siècle) dans une vision du paradis et n’ont pas évolué depuis lors du fait de l’isolement de l’Ethiopie par rapport au reste du monde chrétien. Elle témoigne donc de rites chrétiens très anciens. Ces enregistrements ont été recueillis lors de fêtes et de cérémonies dans plusieurs églises d’Addis Abeba

Among the liturgical chanting of the Ethiopian Church a specific genre, called ‘aqwaqwam , includes the liturgical chants accompanied by sistrums, drums and dance. This “music and dance of heaven” has been revealed to St-Yared (6th century) in a vision of heaven and has not changed since then due to the isolation of Ethiopia in the Christian world. As such, it is a faithful reliof very ancient chrisitan rites. These recordings have been collected at feasts and ceremonies in several churches of Addis Ababa
